"OTHER DJ's"
Some DJ companies can have as many as a dozen other events in addition to
yours on any given day. Some DJ companies don't have any DJ's at all and act only as "booking agents" for independent DJ's. Many of these companies hire or contract out your event to cheaper, inexperienced DJ's in order to maximize profits. Who suffers? You and your event!

One complaint we hear repeatedly about other DJ's is that they can't be reached by telephone or e-mail. Many DJ's don't answer their phones when you call them or return your e-mails. Sadly, many of these DJ's cancel on their clients at the last minute leaving them without a DJ.

Ask yourself this...If a DJ can't do something as simple as returning a phone call or e-mail in a timely manner, will they be there when you really need them? Will they even show up to your event? e-mail consultations with our friendly, experienced Special Event Coordinator to assist you in every step of the pre-event planning including the event schedule, music, announcements, room layout and much more. We will work with you to customize our entertainment to fit YOUR needs and wants.

You will also receive other valuable products and services that will help you to save time, money and contribute to the overall success of your event. This also includes UNLIMITED consultations and coordination with your event vendors before and during your event. The FULL 24/7 service you deserve!

For example, on a typical 4 hour wedding reception, V-Sound Productions will typically invest a minimum of between 12-18 hours of work including the pre-event planning, client and vendor consultations and coordination, travel, set up, teardown and the performance itself on the day of the wedding. This is time spent directly on your event and does not even include normal business office operations such as sales, advertising, purchasing and other activities needed to run a business. We invest similar amounts of time on other types of events.

"OTHER DJ's" (cheap laptop computers, inferior MP3's & pre-programmed music playlists) vs. V-SOUND PRODUCTIONS (superior sound quality with CD's, advanced audio processing & customized, professionally mixed music selection at the event)

"OTHER DJ's"
Many DJ companies use cheap laptop computers, MP3 players and inferior MP3's in their sound systems. They will have you pick out most or all of the music yourself and then set up a playlist for your event BEFORE the event. This saves the DJ time and money but there are many problems with this approach that can affect your event.

1)  Laptop computers are very sensitive to overheating and freeze ups particularly in outdoor environments. Laptop computers also have inferior sound cards with cheap connections that produce poor sound quality. This is why some DJ's who use laptop computers bring CD's as backup.

Ask yourself, how often have you had a computer break down on you? Do you really want to trust your special event to a DJ who uses unreliable equipment?

2)  The sound quality of MP3's are inferior to CD's. Sound information is removed when a song is reduced to a small file size resulting in lower sound quality.

3)  Pre-programmed playlists often prevents the DJ to accommodate last minute requests.

4)  Pre-programmed playlists leave little or no flexibility in changing the order or length of songs that are played making it harder to adapt to schedule changes and guests' musical tastes at the event.

5)  Pre-programmed playlists can leave empty spaces between songs that can kill the mood of the dancefloor and cause your guests to get bored easily.

6)  Pre-programmed playlists allow the DJ to take more breaks and spend less time concentrating on maintaining the dance floor and keeping your guests entertained.

7)  Most DJ’s who use mp3’s use computers. Many of these DJ’s use their computer wireless internet connection to download illegal music, surf the internet, play video games, check e-mail and use chat sites DURING an event. Not only is this behavior extremely unprofessional but it takes the DJ’s attention away from YOUR event and YOUR needs and exposes you to additional risk. Would you want your DJ surfing the web, checking their e-mail or using Twitter, Facebook or some other chat site DURING your wedding or special event? NO! That’s NOT what you are paying them for.
